Kabra Extrusiontechnik’s New Energy business division--GEON has successfully executed and commissioned a 10 MW / 20 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on EPC basis.
The project scope encompassed detailed engineering and design, procurement and supply of equipment, installation, testing and commissioning activities, in accordance with the Rajasthan Integrated Clean Energy Policy, 2024. The Battery Energy Storage System has been designed to support efficient energy management, grid stability and effective integration of renewable energy, thereby contributing towards a more reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure.
The successful commissioning of this project marks a significant milestone for the company and reinforces GEON's capabilities in delivering utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects on a turnkey EPC basis. The project further strengthens the company's position in the energy storage and renewable energy sector and underscores its commitment to supporting India's clean energy transition and grid modernization initiatives.
