FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 09 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16107.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 28991.34 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 12884.07 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1558.53 crore with gross sales of Rs 3911.34 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2352.81 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 490.13 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 341.31 crore, and Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1521.37 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 22.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 16.26 crore in hybrid segment.
