ACME Solar Holdings soars as its arm secures Rs 3,892 crore funding for FDRE project from SBI

Acme Solar Holdings is currently trading at Rs. 312.40, up by 10.10 points or 3.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 302.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 309.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 317.90 and Rs. 307.65 respectively. So far 87870 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 317.90 on 11-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 167.55 on 28-Jan-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 317.90 and Rs. 292.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 19087.49 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 83.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.37% and 4.22% respectively.
ACME Solar Holdings’ wholly owned subsidiary -- ACME Venus Urja has secured long term project funding of Rs 3,892 crore from State Bank of India (SBI) for the development and construction of a 400 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project with repayment spread across 19 years. The funding is significant as it represents the company’s largest financing from SBI and also, represents SBI’s first financing in ACME’s FDRE projects.
The project is being developed in Barmer, Rajasthan and is contracted with NHPC at a tariff of Rs 4.64/Unit. The project would entail installing solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to meet the supply obligations and ensure higher dispatchability as per the PPA conditions.
