FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18889.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 17125.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1764.20 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1912.19 crore with gross sales of Rs 1773.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 138.87 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 88.05 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 21.38 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 248.30 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 105.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.86 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 94.15 crore in hybrid segment.
