Wockhardt posts Q2 net loss of Rs 75.00 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 75.00 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 63.70 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 16.89 per cent at Rs 258.00 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 310.44 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 17.93 per cent to Rs 247.00 crore from Rs 300.97 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 592.12 per cent at Rs 29.00 crore versus (Sep'21 Rs 4.19 crore). Operating Profit surged by 16.16 per cent to Rs 11.00 crore as against Rs 9.47 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 39.67 per cent in September quarter. Interest declined by 3.32 per cent y-o-y to Rs 58.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 55.10 per cent at Rs -40.00 crore (Sep'21 Rs -25.79 crore).
