The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 256.85 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 16.18 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 1487.45 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose by 5.35 per cent at Rs 2,043.01 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,939.27 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 6.86 per cent to Rs 1,630.26 crore from Rs 1,750.27 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 5.22 per cent at Rs 69.38 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 73.20 crore). Operating Profit surged by 118.39 per cent to Rs 412.75 crore as against Rs 189.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 107.18 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 63.05 per cent y-o-y to Rs 13.99 crore, while Taxation increased by 270.03 per cent at Rs 80.37 crore (Mar'21 Rs 21.72 crore).
