* Nifty started the week on a muted note and ended almost unchanged.
* Mixed trend on the sectoral front kept the participants busy wherein metal, banking and realty were in limelight.
* We expect the resumption of the trend soon. Meanwhile, continue with “buy on dips”.
* Buoyancy on the global front especially US is added positive.
BANKNIFTY
* The banking index outshined the benchmark and edged higher.
* The recovery in select private banking majors combined with buying in the PSU pack kept the tone positive.
* A decisive breakout above 43,500 could further fuel the surge.
* Stay selective for fresh buying and keep trailing stop losses in the profitable trades.
