WPIL gains on receiving LoA from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit

WPIL is currently trading at Rs. 917.95, up by 4.70 points or 0.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 913.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 924.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 924.70 and Rs. 917.00 respectively. So far 60 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1121.55 on 16-Jul-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 615.00 on 30-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 927.00 and Rs. 863.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 891.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.69%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.45% and 18.86% respectively.

WPIL has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit for execution of a Turnkey Project comprising of engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, trial run and operation and maintenance of various components of Nimarani 2 Multi-Village Scheme, District Khargone for an amount of Rs 237.64 crore to be completed in 30 months.

WPIL is mainly engaged into manufacturing of vertical pumps, horizontal pumps, grey iron, castings and sluice valves.
