Tata Steel zooms on reporting 2-fold jump in Q3 consolidated net profit

The scrip opened at Rs. 1169.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1214.45 and Rs. 1166.10 respectively. So far 314283 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1534.60 on 16-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 651.50 on 05-Feb-2021.

Tata Steel has reported a rise of 79.29% in its net profit at Rs 7683.39 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 4285.36 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.03% at Rs 32244.19 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 23360.71 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 9598.16 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 4010.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 44.34% at Rs 60842.72 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 42152.87 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
