The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 21.64 crore compared to net loss of Rs 90.19 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 81.65 per cent at Rs 1,571.40 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 865.07 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 53.42 per cent to Rs 1,282.79 crore from Rs 836.12 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 90.88 per cent at Rs 2.61 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 28.62 crore). Operating Profit surged by 896.93 per cent to Rs 288.61 crore as against Rs 28.95 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 448.36 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 8.35 per cent y-o-y to Rs 243.81 crore, while Taxation increased by 103.54 per cent at Rs 1.72 crore (Mar'21 Rs -48.60 crore).
