Blackstone to sell Rs 2,650 crore worth of units of Embassy REIT today

Blackstone Inc is slated to sell 7.7 crore units of Embassy REIT worth Rs 2,650 crore through block deals today, CNBC Awaaz reported citing sources. The offer price of the block deal stands at Rs 345 per unit, 1.82 percent lower against today's closing price of Rs 351.40 on the BSE. IIFL, BofA, and Morgan Stanley, as per report, are brokers to the deal.

Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund, one of the world's largest, is likely to pick up at least half of the stake that Blackstone is to sell, one of the sources said.

Dish TV shareholders reject 4 resolutions at AGM, board strength down to 2

Dish TV, a direct-to-home (DTH) player, which is part of the Essel Group, rejected four of the six resolutions at the company's annual general meeting held on Monday. This comes amid the ongoing dispute between Yes Bank, the largest shareholder in the company, and the promoters of Dish TV over the reconstitution of the firm's board.

The board strength is now down to two members, Dish TV said in a filing to the stock exchanges on Monday, adding that the AGM had been adjourned sine die. Among the resolutions that were not approved by shareholders included the adoption of FY21 and FY22 financial statements and new statutory auditors S N Dhawan & Co.

Akasa Air to start services to Guwahati, Agartala from Bengaluru

Newly-launched Akasa Air on Monday said it will commence its flight services to the northeast with the addition of Agartala (Tripura) and Guwahati (Assam) from October 21.

As part of this expansion, the airline will connect the two north-eastern destinations, which will be its seventh and eighth, respectively, with Bengaluru, Akasa Air said in a statement. These new flights will provide seamless one-stop connectivity between Bengaluru and Agartala with no change of aircraft required at Guwahati, it said.

Vodafone Idea, EESL to install 5 mn IoT-based smart meters in UP, Haryana

Vodafone Idea and state-owned Energy Efficiency Services Limited will install 33.3 lakh additional smart meters in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, the two companies said in a statement. Vodafone Idea Limited (VI) and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) under a partnership have already installed 16.7 smart meters in these two states, the statement said Monday.

Hindustan Construction Company completes debt resolution plan

HCC has completed its debt resolution plan, duly supported by 23 banks. The resolution plan has carved out a significant portion of HCC’s debt along with commensurate assets from its balance sheet.
