Tata Chemicals rises on reporting 3-fold jump in Q2 consolidated net profit

Tata Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 904.65, up by 12.15 points or 1.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 892.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 892.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 913.40 and Rs. 876.10 respectively. So far 126239 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1158.00 on 18-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 303.20 on 04-Nov-2020.

Tata Chemicals has reported a rise of 14.74% in its net profit at Rs 155.01 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 135.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.72% at Rs 891.75 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 820.19 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 3-fold jump in its net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 221.16 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 70.47 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 14.98% at Rs 3,079 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 2,677.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
