Hero MotoCorp jumps on logging retail growth of 20% over corresponding festive period of FY22

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2665.05, up by 15.85 points or 0.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 2649.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2683.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2694.45 and Rs. 2656.25 respectively. So far 6401 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2939.35 on 18-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2148.00 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2694.45 and Rs. 2566.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 53771.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 54.68% and 10.54% respectively

Hero MotoCorp has registered a healthy double-digit retail growth of 20% over the corresponding festive period of FY22, thereby consolidating its leadership in the domestic two-wheeler market. A positive turnaround in customer sentiment in the just concluded 32-day festive period - starting from the first day of Navratras till the day after Bhai Duj - has also enabled the company to register a significant gain in its market share.

The Company’s festival season retails were driven by the strong performance of its popular models across segments, including the 100cc Splendor+, 125cc motorcycles Glamour and Super Splendor and the XPulse range in the premium segment. The festive season also witnessed strong customer preference for Destini scooters, resulting in the double-digit growth.

The sales were led by high demand across key states such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Karnataka. To mark the beginning of this year’s auspicious festive season, Hero MotoCorp, launched the Hero GIFT- Grand Indian Festival of Trust. The initiative included exciting model refreshes, retail benefits, slew of financing schemes, pre-booking offers and much more.
