Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy surges as its arm incorporates wholly owned subsidiary

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy is currently trading at Rs. 300.05, up by 2.75 points or 0.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 297.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 296.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 302.50 and Rs. 294.00 respectively. So far 11757 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 400.00 on 28-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 255.25 on 26-Dec-2022.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy’s step-down subsidiary -- Sterling and Wilson Solar Solutions Inc. (SWSS) has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in the name of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Nigeria in Nigeria on February 09, 2023.

The object of the new subsidiary is provision of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solar solutions and electricity production from solar energy conversion and photovoltaic systems including Battery Energy Storage System and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities in Nigeria.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy is engaged in the business of construction and maintenance of power plants. The company's products and services range include Contract activities and Operation Services.
