The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 16.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 27.20 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 39.52 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 9.42 per cent at Rs 603.94 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 551.96 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 18.04 per cent to Rs 576.04 crore from Rs 488.02 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 15.62 per cent at Rs 3.62 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 4.29 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 50.49 per cent to Rs 33.28 crore as against Rs 67.22 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 54.76 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 26.04 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.13 crore, while Taxation decreased by 48.56 per cent at Rs 5.55 crore (Mar'21 Rs 10.79 crore).
