SRF Q4 net profit jumps 78.16% at Rs 311.04 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 311.04 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 174.58 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 78.16 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 30.78 per cent at Rs 2,105.15 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,609.68 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 20.34 per cent to Rs 1,590.88 crore from Rs 1,322.02 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 129.22 per cent at Rs 16.16 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 7.05 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 64.05 per cent to Rs 532.33 crore as against Rs 324.50 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 25.45 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 56.34 per cent y-o-y to Rs 19.01 crore, while Taxation increased by 505.51 per cent at Rs 121.89 crore (Mar'20 Rs 20.13 crore).
