Ramco Industries Q4 net profit down 38.95% at Rs 15.33 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 15.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 25.11 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 38.95 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 9.04 per cent at Rs 294.79 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 270.36 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 10.21 per cent to Rs 275.54 crore from Rs 250.01 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 86.26 per cent at Rs 2.23 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 16.23 crore). Operating Profit surged by 5.57 per cent to Rs 29.00 crore as against Rs 27.47 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 3.15 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 27.32 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.47 crore, while Taxation decreased by 36.22 per cent at Rs 6.18 crore (Mar'21 Rs 9.69 crore).
