* The BSE Sensex ended at 61,223.03 down by 12.27 points or 0.02% after trading in a range of 61,324.59 and 60,757.03. There were 13 stocks advancing and 17 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.22%, and Small cap index was up by 0.50%

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 0.08%, Utilities was up by 0.32%, Capital Goods was up by 1.43%, and Realty was up by 1.10%, while, FMCG was down by 0.60%, Oil & Gas was down by 0.14%, and Telecom was down by 1.20%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were TCS was up by 1.84%, Infosys was up by 1.64%, L&T was up by 1.32%, HDFC Bank was up by 1.11%, and Tech Mahindra was up by 0.88%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Asian Paint was down by 2.66%, AXIS Bank was down by 2.62%, Hindustan Unilever was down by 2.13%, Wipro was down by 1.55%, and Mahindra & Mahindra was down by 1.53%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 18,255.75 down by 2.05 points or 0.01% after trading in a range of 18,286.95 and 18,119.65. There were 20 stocks advancing and 30 stocks declining
