* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 1.77%, Capital Goods was up by 0.84%, Telecom was up by 0.71%, Oil & Gas was up by 1.16%, Utilities was up by 2.18%, and FMCG was up by 0.74%, while, Realty was down by 0.58%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were NTPC was up by 5.48%, Power Grid was up by 2.73%, SBIN was up by 2.69%, Titan was up by 2.31%, and Reliance was up by 2.22%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Sun Pharma was down by 1.09%, UltraTech Cement was down by 0.85%, Indusind Bank was down by 0.82%, Dr. Reddy was down by 0.11%, and Infosys was down by 0.05%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,805.25 up by 179.55 points or 1.02% after trading in a range of 17,827.60 and 17,593.55. There were 35 stocks advancing and 15 stocks declining
