HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17547 on a negative note with 7.24% increase in the open interest indicating Short Build Up. Nifty Futures closed at a discount of 29 points compared to the previous day premium of 4 points. BankNifty closed at 39067 on negative note with 4.06% decrease in open interest indicating Short Build Up. BankNifty Futures closed at a discount of 49 points compared to the previous day discount of 11points.
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 1185 crores and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 10485 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 1287 crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 7847 crores.
India VIX index is at 19.16 v/s 18.65. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 23.20 whereas Nifty ATM Put option IV is quoting at 17.58.
