* The BSE Sensex ended at 58,129.95 up by 277.41 points or 0.48% after trading in a range of 58,194.79 and 57,764.07. There were 18 stocks advancing and 12 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.35%, and Small cap index was up by 0.41%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 3.60%, Oil & Gas was up by 2.25%, Utilities was up by 0.55%, Realty was up by 0.94%, and Capital Goods was up by 0.72%, while, FMCG was down by 0.22%, and Telecom was down by 0.52%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Reliance was up by 4.16%, Titan was up by 2.59%, Bajaj Auto was up by 1.18%, TATA Steel was up by 1.12%, and Maruti was up by 1.09%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Bharti Airtel was down by 1.20%, Hindustan Unilever was down by 0.92%, HDFC Bank was down by 0.82%, HDFC was down by 0.68%, and Indusind Bank was down by 0.54%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,323.60 up by 89.45 points or 0.52% after trading in a range of 17,340.10 and 17,212.20. There were 32 stocks advancing and 17 stocks declining and 1 stock unchanged.
