* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,482.71 down by 66.95 points or 0.13% after trading in a range of 52,875.92 and 52,448.64. There were 12 stocks advancing and 18 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in red and green respectively; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.03%, and Small cap index was up by 0.56%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 0.66%, and Capital Goods was up by 0.31%, while, Oil & Gas was down by 0.50%, Telecom was down by 1.22%, FMCG was down by 0.39%, Utilities was down by 1.20%, and Realty was down by 0.43%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Inofys was up by 1.19%, Reliance was up by 1.14%, Nestle India was up by 0.85%, Maruti was up by 0.74%, and Tech Mahindra was up by 0.60%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Power Grid was down by 1.51%, Bajaj Finserv was down by 1.49%, ICICI Bank was down by 1.46%, HDFC was down by 1.04% and NTPC was down by 1.02%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,721.50 down by 26.95 points or 0.17% after trading in a range of 15,839.10 and 15,708.75. There were 17 stocks advancing and 33 stocks declining.
