* The BSE Sensex ended at 49,201.39 up by 42.07 points or 0.09% after trading in a range of 49,582.26 and 48,936.35. There were 16 stocks advancing and 14 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 1.00%, and Small cap index was up by 0.84%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Telecom was up by 0.60%, Realty was up by 0.97%, FMCG was up by 0.99%, and Capital Goods was up by 0.20%, while, Utilities was down by 0.21%, Energy was down by 0.20%, and Oil & Gas was down by 0.05%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Asian Paint was up by 4.07%, Sun Pharma was up by 1.88%, Hindustan Unilever was up by 1.44%, HDFC was up by 1.35%, and Nestle India was up by 1.05%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Power Grid was down by 2.29%, AXIS Bank was down by 1.12%, Indusind Bank was down by 1.09%, UltraTech Cement was down by 0.93%, and ICICI Bank was down by 0.91%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 14,683.50 up by 45.70 points or 0.31% after trading in a range of 14,779.10 and 14,573.90. There were 31 stocks advancing and 18 stocks declining and 1 stock unchanged.
