Nifty weekly contracts have highest open interest at 16000 for Calls and 15900 for Puts while monthly contracts have highest OI at 16000 for Calls and 15000 for Puts. Highest new OI addition was seen at 16000 for Calls and 15300 for Puts in weekly and at 16800 for Calls and 15000 for Puts in monthly contracts. FIIs cut their future index long position holdings by 5.72% and increased their future index short position by 17.94%. FIIs increased their position in index options by 22.76% in Call longs, 57.94% in Call shorts, 18.84% in Put longs and 23.51% in Put shorts.
