NLC India jumps on making capacity addition of 517.5 MW during FY 2020-21
NLC India is currently trading at Rs. 49.90, up by 0.90 points or 1.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 49.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 49.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 51.10 and Rs. 48.65 respectively. So far 252730 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 59.75 on 10-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 40.20 on 26-May-2020.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 51.35 and Rs. 48.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6926.25 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.64% and 5.16% respectively.
NLC India (NLCIL) has made a capacity addition of 517.5 MW, using ‘first of its kind technology’ during the FY 2020-21, with 500 MW of Lignite based Thermal Power and 17.5 MW of Solar with Battery Energy Storage System. With this, NLCIL and its subsidiaries installed power generating capacity has increased to 6,061.06 MW.
