NLC India surges on incorporating wholly owned subsidiary

NLC India is currently trading at Rs. 99.20, up by 1.18 points or 1.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 98.02 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 99.51 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 99.98 and Rs. 99.20 respectively. So far 13620 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 102.90 on 12-Jun-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 58.35 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 102.90 and Rs. 96.86 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13798.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.87% and 8.93% respectively.

NLC India has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) Company in the name of ‘NLC India Renewables’ on June 14, 2023 to take over the existing renewable assets of NLC India.

Earlier, the company had received an approval for incorporation of wholly Owned Subsidiary Company to take over the existing renewable assets in the name of ‘NLC India Renewables’ or any other name as may be made available / approved by Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

NLC India is engaged in the business of lignite mining and power generation.
