Minda Corporation posts Q4 net profit of Rs 45.91 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 45.91 crore compared to net loss of Rs 351.01 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 49.81 per cent at Rs 767.55 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 512.35 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 45.08 per cent to Rs 681.11 crore from Rs 469.48 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 58.85 per cent at Rs 5.86 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 14.24 crore). Operating Profit surged by 101.63 per cent to Rs 86.44 crore as against Rs 42.87 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 34.53 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 30.94 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7.61 crore, while Taxation increased by 64.75 per cent at Rs 15.47 crore (Mar'20 Rs 9.39 crore).
