AstraZeneca gets CDSCO nod for drug to treat biliary tract cancer:

Drug firm AstraZeneca India on Friday said it has received approval from the domestic drug regulator to market a drug to treat biliary tract cancer (BTC) in the country. The company has received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) for Durvalumab, the drug firm said in a statement. BTC is a group of rare and aggressive gastrointestinal (GI) cancers that form in the cells of the bile ducts (cholangiocarcinoma), gallbladder or ampulla of Vater (where the bile duct and pancreatic duct connect to the small intestine).

 

GAIL plans to buy up to 26% equity stake in LNG projects in United States:

GAIL (India) Ltd is looking to buy an equity stake of up to 26% in a liquefied natural gas (LNG) liquefaction plant or project in the United States, according to a document issued by the company. GAIL (India) Ltd, had run into supply disruptions last year. The company has issued a tender seeking expression of interest (EoI) from operators of existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) liquefaction plants or proposed projects in the US that will be commissioned by 2027. The company is also looking to buy 1 million tonnes a year of LNG from the facility for 15 years, starting the last quarter of calendar year 2026, according to the tender document. GAIL is open to extending the supply contract by another 5 to 10 years. Its current 5.8 million tonnes LNG import deals from US projects do not involve any equity holding.

 

DLF to launch 1,100 luxury condos in Gurgaon:

Real estate major DLF is expected to launch a new luxury project comprising 1,100 dwelling units in Gurgaon on Golf Course Extension Road and is eyeing a potential revenue of Rs 8,000 crore from the luxury housing project going forward, said company sources. The formal launch is expected next week, they added. DLF will be launching a high-rise condominium after nearly 10 years. The last project which they completed was Crest and Camellias and the company has been focusing on generating cash by executing low-rise independent floors in DLF City, New Gurgaon and Panchkula.

 

Minda Corporation acquires stake in Pricol:

Minda Corporation has acquired 1,91,40,342 Equity Shares of Pricol representing 15.70406% of the Pricol’s total issued and paid-up equity share capital. This is merely a financial investment without providing the Company any special rights in Pricol other than the rights as a shareholder of Pricol. This is an open-market transaction and no prior approvals have been obtained.
