Mahindra Logistics jumps on eyeing sharp business growth in H2 FY22

Mahindra Logistics is currently trading at Rs. 579.50, up by 4.40 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 575.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 574.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 580.75 and Rs. 568.00 respectively. So far 3668 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 613.95 on 17-Mar-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 270.10 on 30-Jun-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 611.75 and Rs. 568.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4154.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.86% and 8.80% respectively.

Mahindra Logistics is back on stronger recovery path and now eyeing sharp business growth during the second half of this fiscal (H2 FY22), despite it witnessed significant impact on its business in the last two months due to lockdowns in various states. With COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions being eased in various states, the company is optimistic of carry on the positivity in the business outlook gathered in June to the third and fourth quarter of FY2022.

As far as its preparedness for the likely third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is concerned, the company has taken up several programs internally to tackle and mitigate the impact of a new wave of coronavirus infections.

Mahindra Logistics provides logistics solutions, warehousing facilities, freight forwarding and supply chain management services. It also provides people transport solutions, a specialised line of business which helps corporate clients move employees to and from the workplace.
