Lloyds Steels Ind. posts Q1 net profit of Rs 10.08 cr
The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 10.08 crore compared to net loss of Rs 1.01 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose three fold by 876.35 per cent at Rs 50.77 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 5.20 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 372.24 per cent to Rs 38.44 crore from Rs 8.14 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 41.60 per cent at Rs 1.39 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 2.38 crore). Operating Profit surged by 519.73 per cent to Rs 12.34 crore as against Rs -2.94 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 142.96 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 476.92 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.75 crore
