Lakshmi Machines posts Q1 net profit of Rs 66.81 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 66.81 crore compared to net loss of Rs 9.24 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose triple digit by 122.94 per cent at Rs 972.12 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 436.04 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 107.43 per cent to Rs 892.80 crore from Rs 430.42 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 28.04 per cent at Rs 24.43 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 19.08 crore). Operating Profit surged by 1311.39 per cent to Rs 79.32 crore as against Rs 5.62 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 532.56 per cent in June quarter. Taxation increased by 532.94 per cent at Rs 21.52 crore (Jun'21 Rs 3.40 crore).
