Kalpataru Power Transmission trades in green on incorporating wholly owned subsidiary

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 382.95, up by 1.55 points or 0.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 381.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 382.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 392.00 and Rs. 375.55 respectively. So far 50107 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 495.95 on 03-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 338.00 on 19-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 392.00 and Rs. 356.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5701.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.89% and 8.53% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission has incorporated a Wholly Owned Subsidiary namely ‘Kalpataru Power Chile SpA’ in Republic of Chile. KPTL Chile proposes to foray into similar business as that of the company.

The abstract of incorporation of KPTL Chile was registered in the Commercial Registry of Santiago on March 4, 2022 and was published in Official Gazette by Ministry of Interior and Public Security on March 7, 2022. It is yet to commence business operations.
