Kirloskar Oil Engine Q4 net profit jumps 56.01% at Rs 72.70 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 72.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 46.60 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 56.01 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 28.70 per cent at Rs 914.58 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 710.62 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 23.92 per cent to Rs 797.11 crore from Rs 643.26 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 26.67 per cent at Rs 8.14 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 11.10 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 74.39 per cent to Rs 117.47 crore as against Rs 67.36 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 35.44 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 0.75 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.32 crore, while Taxation increased by 83.33 per cent at Rs 26.18 crore (Mar'20 Rs 14.28 crore).
