Adani Green Energy jumps on reporting 49% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 2198.45, up by 25.60 points or 1.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 2172.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2214.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2238.00 and Rs. 2191.40 respectively. So far 20520 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3048.00 on 19-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1211.90 on 11-Nov-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2259.15 and Rs. 2118.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 348914.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.51% and 22.73% respectively.

The company has reported net loss of Rs 93 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to net profit of Rs 101 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 38.68% to Rs 3,042 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4,961 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 49% in its net profit of Rs 149 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 100 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.49% to Rs 1,686 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,411 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
