Asian Paints December quarter net profit rises 6.4% to Rs 1,097 crore

Asian Paints Ltd on Thursday reported a 6.4 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,097.06 crore in the third quarter ended December 2022. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,031.29 crore in the same period last fiscal, Asian Paints said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 8,636.74 crore as against Rs 8,527.24 crore in the year-ago quarter, it added.

 

Havells India Q3 net dips 7.3% to Rs 283.52 cr on higher raw material costs

Electrical appliances maker Havells India Ltd on Thursday reported a 7.3 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 283.52 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2022, on account of higher raw material costs.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 305.82 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Havells India said in a regulatory filing.

 

HUL Q3 results: Net profit rises 7.9% to Rs 2,481 cr; total income up 16.4%

FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd on Thursday reported a 7.9 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 2,481 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2022.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2,300 crore in the OctoberDecember quarter of the previous fiscal.

Its consolidated total income during the quarter under review rose 16.35 per cent to Rs 15,707 crore against Rs 13,499 crore a year ago, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) said in a regulatory filing.

 

Vedanta's Cairn Oil & Gas announces appointment of Nick Walker as new CEO

Vedanta's Cairn Oil & Gas on Thursday announced the appointment of Nick Walker as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of the company. In a statement, the company said the appointment is effective January 5.

"Before this appointment, Walker was president and chief executive officer at Lundin Energy, one of the leading European independent E&P companies," it said.

 

RIL Q3 revenue set to grow 21%, powered by Jio and retail

Diversified conglomerate and the biggest Nifty heavyweight Reliance Industries is expected to report double-digit growth in consolidated revenue and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) for the October-December quarter, according to a Moneycontrol poll.

Net profit is expected to grow 4.4 percent to Rs 16,366 crore from a year earlier and sequentially by 19.7 percent, according to the average of estimates of brokerages polled by Moneycontrol. Revenue is expected to rise 21 percent YoY to Rs 2.23 lakh crore

 

Adani Group has no plans to enter telecom sector: Chief financial officer
