KDDL Q1 net profit zooms 573.45% at Rs 18.52 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 18.52 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 2.75 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 573.45 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 49.31 per cent at Rs 69.04 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 46.24 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 38.58 per cent to Rs 53.88 crore from Rs 38.88 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 822.56 per cent at Rs 12.27 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 1.33 crore). Operating Profit surged by 105.98 per cent to Rs 15.16 crore as against Rs 7.36 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 37.94 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 4.26 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.80 crore, while Taxation increased by 251.30 per cent at Rs 4.04 crore (Jun'21 Rs 1.15 crore).
