The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 333.64 crore compared to net loss of Rs 79.78 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 37.00 per cent at Rs 956.87 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 698.47 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 39.50 per cent to Rs 678.78 crore from Rs 486.59 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 1419.60 per cent at Rs 106.22 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 6.99 crore). Operating Profit surged by 31.25 per cent to Rs 278.09 crore as against Rs 211.88 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 4.19 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 1.66 per cent y-o-y to Rs 140.29 crore, while Taxation increased by 234.33 per cent at Rs 34.94 crore (Mar'20 Rs -26.01 crore).
