Jaiprakash Power Ventures gains on getting nod to divest Nigrie Cement Grinding Unit
Jaiprakash Power Ventures is currently trading at Rs. 8.52, up by 0.06 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 8.46 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 8.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 8.72 and Rs. 8.47 respectively. So far 23435270 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 11.22 on 12-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.10 on 23-Nov-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 8.72 and Rs. 7.51 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5852.85 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 24.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.95% and 50.05% respectively.
Jaiprakash Power Ventures has received an approval to divest Company's Nigrie Cement Grinding Unit as well as other non- core assets. The Board of Directors in their meeting held on October 10, 2022, have decided the same.
Earlier, the company had been emerged as the highest bidder for a coal block in Madhya Pradesh.
