Indraprastha Gas Ltd Q3 net profit down 7.87% at Rs 308.52 cr

| The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 308.52 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 334.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 7.87 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 53.20 per cent at Rs 2,215.46 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,446.16 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 84.65 per cent to Rs 1,745.85 crore from Rs 945.49 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 17.21 per cent at Rs 30.37 crore versus (Dec'20 Rs 25.91 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 6.20 per cent to Rs 469.61 crore as against Rs 500.67 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 38.76 per cent in December quarter. Interest declined by 7.21 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.83 crore, while Taxation decreased by 7.51 per cent at Rs 105.13 crore (Dec'20 Rs 113.67 crore). |
