The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 54.29 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 48.64 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 11.62 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 15.51 per cent at Rs 318.30 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 275.56 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 20.04 per cent to Rs 253.22 crore from Rs 210.94 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 39.47 per cent at Rs 12.19 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 8.74 crore). Operating Profit surged by 0.71 per cent to Rs 65.08 crore as against Rs 64.62 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 12.79 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 32.74 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.76 crore, while Taxation decreased by 6.03 per cent at Rs 17.77 crore (Mar'21 Rs 18.91 crore).
