Indian Hotels Company trades higher on signing new Ginger hotel in Gangtok
Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 300.55, up by 4.05 points or 1.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 296.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 297.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 302.60 and Rs. 297.00 respectively. So far 144085 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 302.60 on 05-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 138.15 on 07-Sep-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 302.60 and Rs. 272.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 42611.99 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 44.76% and 17.05% respectively.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new Ginger hotel in Gangtok, Sikkim. Strategically located in Bojoghari on top of a hill with picturesque views of the mountains, the Ginger hotel is a short drive away from key tourist sights and traditional business district. The design is influenced by the local Sikkimese and Tibetan architecture.
The 87-room hotel will also feature Qmin, the all-day-diner, a bar and a fitness centre. The hotel will have conference rooms, making this the ideal location to host business and leisure travellers. The Brownfield project is slated to open in 2023. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have three hotels across brands in Sikkim including two under development.
