HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 15742 on a positive note with 3.91% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a discount of -11 points compared to the previous day discount of -1 points
BankNifty closed at 34952 on positive note with 1.37 % decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a discount of -27 points compared to the previous day premium of 4 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 99 crores and were Sellers in Index Options to the tune of 5295 crores, Buyers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 235 crores. Net Sellers in the derivative segment to the tune of 5154 crores.
