Industrials, real estate, technology and chemicals dominate upgrades in the upcoming AMFI size classification; small cap upper threshold breaches 2018 peak to reach US$2.1bn!
Based on the data available since Jul’21 till now and assuming prices will not deviate significantly from current levels during the rest of Dec’21, we observe the following trends:
Market depth in terms of market capitalisation threshold of mid and small caps continues to rise: Small cap upper threshold for market capitalisation breaches the previous high seen in Feb'2018 to reach US$2.1bn while for mid-cap stocks it reaches US$6.3bn.
