PHD comments on ``LPG prices likely to bring down this FY inflation``
Reduction in the prices of gas cylinders by Rs.200 for all customers and Rs.400 for the beneficiaries under Ujjwala Yojana is a great step forward to mitigate the impact of inflation on households and to soften the fuel inflation. "As fuel's weight in WPI accounts for 13.15 and LPG’S weights accounts for 0.64 , reduction in prices will be a win-win situation for the households on the demand side and controlling inflation from the supply side." said Mr Saket Dalmia, President, PHDCCI. It will have an indirect effect on other sectors, such as transportation and production in terms of lower input costs
