Hero MotoCorp surges on reporting 15% rise in total sales in March 2023

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2411.70, up by 64.55 points or 2.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 2347.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2399.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2414.75 and Rs. 2373.50 respectively. So far 5977 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2939.35 on 18-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2151.60 on 01-Apr-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2414.75 and Rs. 2246.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 48146.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 54.77% and 10.45% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp has sold 519,342 units in March 2023, translating into a double-digit growth of 15% over the corresponding month of 2022, when it had sold 450,154 two-wheelers. Riding on the positive demand of its popular two-wheelers in the month of March 2023, Hero MotoCorp further consolidated its leadership position by surpassing 5.3 million unit sales in the Financial Year (FY) 2023 (April- March 2023). The company sold 53,28,546 units in FY23, registering a healthy growth of 8% over the corresponding period of the previous fiscal (FY22), when the Company had sold 49,44,150 units.
