Hero MotoCorp gains on reporting 6% rise in total sales in August

The company's exports increased to 15,770 units in June 2023 versus 11,868 units in June 2022  

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2941.85, up by 14.80 points or 0.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 2927.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2942.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2965.15 and Rs. 2937.00 respectively. So far 2691 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3242.85 on 01-Aug-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2246.75 on 28-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3001.90 and Rs. 2891.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 58865.41 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.38% and 9.85% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp has sold 488,717 units in August 2023. This translates into a growth of 5.64% over the corresponding month of August 2022, when the company had sold 462,608 units.

Of the total sales in August 2023, the company sold 452,186 motorcycles and 36,531 scooters as against 430,799 motorcycles and 31,809 scooters sold in August 2022. Domestic sales stood at 472,947 units in August 2023, up from sales of 450,740 units in August last year. Besides, the company's exports increased to 15,770 units in August 2023 versus 11,868 units in August 2022.
