Hero MotoCorp shines on planning to increase prices of motorcycles and scooters
Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2985.65, up by 79.10 points or 2.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 2906.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2965.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2994.55 and Rs. 2941.00 respectively. So far 26204 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3628.55 on 18-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2406.00 on 23-Jun-2020.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2994.55 and Rs. 2852.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 58069.93 crore.

Hero MotoCorp is planning to make an upward revision in the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters, with effect from July 1, 2021. The price hike has been necessitated to partially offset the impact of continuous increase in commodity prices.
The company continues to drive cost savings program aggressively, in order to minimize the impact on the customer. The price hike across the range of motorcycles and scooters will be up to Rs 3,000 and the exact quantum of the increase will depend on the basis of the model and the specific market.
