The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2,741.00 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 2562.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 6.99 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 16.74 per cent at Rs 11,424.00 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 9,786.00 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 21.64 per cent to Rs 7,471.00 crore from Rs 6,142.00 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 3.95 per cent at Rs 184.00 crore versus (Sep'21 Rs 177.00 crore). Operating Profit surged by 8.48 per cent to Rs 3,953.00 crore as against Rs 3,644.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 7.09 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 32.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 33.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 36.10 per cent at Rs 803.00 crore (Sep'21 Rs 590.00 crore).
