Power Grid Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 209.40, up by 0.20 points or 0.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 209.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 202.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 213.00 and Rs. 202.90 respectively. So far 330922 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 220.85 on 27-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 148.88 on 12-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 213.00 and Rs. 189.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 146100.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.61% and 12.05% respectively.

Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as the successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) to Establish Transmission System for ‘System Strengthening Transmission Scheme for evacuation of power from solar energy zones in Rajasthan (8.1GW) under Phase-II -Part-G’ on build, own, operate and maintain (BOOM) basis.

The Letter of Intent (LoI) dated February 28, 2022 has been issued to Power Grid Corporation of India. The Transmission system comprises establishment of a new 765/400kV GIS Substation at Narela (NCT of Delhi) and 765kV D/C Transmission Lines in Rajasthan, Haryana and NCT of Delhi.
