Greaves Cotton surges after its arm incorporates wholly owned subsidiary in USA

Greaves Cotton is currently trading at Rs. 163.45, up by 0.25 points or 0.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 163.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 156.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 164.50 and Rs. 156.60 respectively. So far 139981 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 258.85 on 21-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 116.90 on 19-Mar-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 176.00 and Rs. 156.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3778.43 crore.

Greaves Cotton’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Greaves Technologies (GTL) has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary namely ‘Greaves Technologies Inc’ in Delaware, USA with effect from February 23, 2022. The business of wholly owned subsidiary would be in the field of engineering services. GTL has subscribed to 5000 shares of $10 per share.
